BC Agriculture Council (BCAC) is the lead industry advocate for key sector-wide priorities in British Columbia.
About the Scholarship
The BC Young Farmers Scholarship supports the next generation of agricultural leaders by providing annual financial assistance to B.C. residents aged 19–40 who are pursuing post-secondary education or training in agriculture.
Eligibility Criteria
Must be…
- Resident of British Columbia*
- Canadian citizen or permanent resident*
- Between the ages of 19-40
- Enrolled in an accredited Canadian post-secondary program* related to agriculture
- New or returning student
*Indicates proof required
While we welcome all applicants who fall within the eligibility criteria, preference will be given to:
- Those affiliated with a member of a BCAC member association (includes members, a child of, or an employee of). See list of BCAC members
- Those pursuing a career in primary agriculture or aquaculture (e.g., shellfish, finfish, kelp)
